WHAT IS A POD MOD?

Vuse offers vapers a choice between open and closed system devices. In an open system device, like the Twisp Tyko Plus, vapers fill the tank themselves. In closed system devices, the eLiquid comes in pre-filled, closed flavour cartridges, known as Pod Mods.

Closed vaping devices offer more control over what liquid is vaped and the way the liquid is heated when compared to open systems.

We test our liquid pods and devices with product performance and quality assurance in mind. eLiquids are specifically formulated for each Vuse device. We conduct more than 1,000 product tests before any consumer tries our vaping products. Read more on our rigorous testing approach here.

For Vuse devices, each batch is individually tested and given a unique number for traceability.

All batches are loaded into sealed, tamper-evident containers before being shipped from our factory. We seal our liquid Pod Mod in blister packs to protect them from contamination. If the product has been tampered with, the foil seal will be visibly broken.

The quality and design of batteries and heating elements in e-cigarettes can differ widely, which affects the characteristics of vapour output.

Through our testing process, we also assess the mechanics and the electronics of our devices so that you get the best possible vaping experience. Our products meet all international and national safety requirements, as well as Vuse’s internal safety requirements.

All Vuse devices are CE-certified and assessed by independent third-party testing laboratories.

We fastidiously comply with the Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive.

We are fully compliant with the General Product Safety Directive.

We comply with the Low Voltage Directive, Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive and Battery Safety Standard. Our devices contain lithium-ion batteries similar to smartphone batteries. Our products meet all international and national safety requirements, and they are designed with safety in mind. To avoid any failure to your Vuse product or damage to other property, only use and charge your Vuse device with the equipment provided in your kit. The leaflet provided with Vuse devices will always guide you on keeping your device safe and in a good working condition.
