Our Nic Salts flavour ranges have been specially formulated with nicotine salts – but what is this key ingredient, and how does it deliver improved flavour satisfaction?
UNPACKING NIC SALTS
Nicotine is naturally found in several plant varieties but is at the highest level in tobacco plants. It is found in the leaves and exists in a salt form.
These nicotine salts that are available in tobacco have been recreated in eLiquids by the addition of a special ingredient, which reacts with the nicotine to form a nicotine salt. Nicotine in “salt” form, also known as protonated nicotine, is more stable than the nicotine in normal eLiquids.
WHAT ARE NIC SALTS USED FOR?
Adding nicotine salts to eLiquids is all about delivering the satisfaction and intensity of a vaping experience that is closer to that of smoking a conventional cigarette.
The salt can provide a smoother throat hit. Some vapers prefer this over freebase nicotine (without "salts") tends to harsher on the throat. Testing has shown that eLiquids with nicotine salts may also be more stable in terms of shelf life than other e-liquids.
For adult smokers looking to switch to vaping, using nic salts in your vape can create a similar sensation to that of smoking cigarettes. When switching from smoking, we suggest starting out with an 18mg nicotine strength before working your way down the strengths if you find this too much.
DO NIC SALTS COME IN FLAVOURS?
We’re designing vaping experiences that deliver maximum satisfaction, this includes giving you a range of high-quality flavours. Our Nic Salts come in a variety of flavours that have been expertly crafted and blended by our R&D team. Our ePod flavours are only available with nic salts as standard but we have flavour ranges for ePen, with or without nic salts so take your pick!
