WHAT IS TRUE ABOUT THE E-CIGARETTE? FACTS & MISCONCEPTION IN CHECK

Although the e-cigarette is no longer a novelty among the alternatives to smoking, there are still many misconceptions surrounding the electronic cigarette. That's why we would like to clear up 4 of the most common misconceptions and instead take a closer look at the facts about e-cigarettes. Because the e-cigarette is not self-explanatory ...

Misconception #1: An e-cigarette contains tobacco

Fact: Wrong, the electronic cigarette does not use tobacco at all. E-liquids from Vuse consist of propylene glycol, vegetable glycerine, distilled water, flavouring and nicotine. The latter is extracted as natural nicotine from the tobacco plant. Although this means that the liquid of an e-cigarette is tobacco-free*, it can still have a tobacco-like aroma. In addition, liquids are also available without nicotine. But what they all have in common is that the Vuse Liquid ingredients are strictly tested.

Misconception #2: Where smoking is banned, you are not allowed to vape

Fact: This is true in most cases. In general, you are allowed to vape wherever smoking is permitted. Nevertheless, the smoking ban cannot be transferred 1:1 to vaping. Depending on the rules or regulations, it can be decided whether the use of e-cigarettes is allowed or not. For example, the landlord of a restaurant can decide that he will not tolerate smoking but will allow vaping. It is always best to find out in advance so as not to violate the house rules or regulations.

Misconception #3: E-cigarettes belong in household waste

Fact: Both the battery and the liquids of e-cigarettes must not be disposed of in household waste. This is because they may contain electrical components. Disposing of rechargeable batteries and batteries in household waste is expressly prohibited. Instead, the components of your e-cigarette must be disposed of properly in the electronic waste. Used devices and liquids can be taken back at the recycling centre, in specialist shops. We also offer a free device take-back scheme via our Vuse Online Shop. You are welcome to return used devices to us.

Misconception #4: E-cigarette batteries are dangerous

Fact: Wrong, when buying your closed-system e-cigarette battery and all other components of your e-cigarette, look for quality and high value. Ideally, the battery should have overvoltage protection and a time-controlled switch-off. Then you don't have to worry about the quality of your battery.

WHAT IS TRUE, WHAT IS NOT? THE E-CIGARETTE & QUESTIONING INFORMATION

There are probably as many misconceptions about e-cigarettes as there are facts. Since information about e-cigarettes can be obtained from a wide variety of sources, the truth of the matter is not always obvious. A lot of information turns out to be hardly well-founded or even contains false statements about e-cigarettes. Facts and misconceptions will probably continue to duel each other in the future. That is why you should always question information when researching e-cigarettes.
