VUSE TAKEOVER CONTEST

OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

  1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

The Vuse Takeover Contest (the "Contest") begins September 24, 2021 at 12:00 a.m. ET and ends on October 15, 2021 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET (the "Contest Period"). The Contest is run by Imperial Tobacco Company Limited (the “Organizer”). For the purpose of the Contest, the “Contest Group” is composed of the Organizer, together with its parent, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers of material and services related to the Contest, and any other corporation, partnership, sole proprietorship or other legal entity directly involved in the Contest.

  2. ELIGIBILITY

The Contest is open to residents of Ontario who are of legal age to purchase vaping products at the beginning of the Contest Period (each eligible person, an “Entrant”). Excluded from eligibility are officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives of any member of the Contest Group, and members of any immediate family (defined as parents, siblings, children and spouses, regardless of where they live) or households (whether or not related) of such officers, directors, employees, agents or representatives.

  3. HOW TO ENTER

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To enter the Contest, an Entrant must (i) follow @vusecanada on Instagram, and (ii) scan the QR code at the Vuse Takeover installation (the “Contest Website”) and complete an augmented reality experience. You must have a valid Instagram account and be able to receive direct messages from the Organizer’s Instagram page to enter the Contest. If you do not have an Instagram account, visit www.instagram.com and follow the on-screen instructions to sign-up for a free Instagram account.

On the Contest Website, Entrants will find a “Map” tab with the location of the Vuse Store Toronto. Within the map, Entrants will find the location of three (3) augmented reality elements (“pop-up zones”). Each time you land on one of these pop-up zones, you will be able to see the augmented reality elements through the “AR” tab. Once you have interacted with all three (3) pop-up zones, you will receive a notice that you have completed the augmented reality experience and will be asked to head towards the Vuse Store Toronto (located at 355 Queen Street West, Toronto) to complete your entry into the Contest.

At the Vuse Store Toronto, a staff member will verify that the above conditions of entry have been met. Entrants will then be asked to provide contact information on the store’s digital device, which will count as your entry into the Contest (an “Entry”). At the time of entry, Entrants will also be required to answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question.

Limit: There is a limit of one (1) Entry per Entrant during the Contest Period. Any attempt to exceed the limit on Entries is a violation of these Rules and may result in disqualification. An Entry will count towards all Draw Dates (as defined below) during the Contest Period and non-winning Entries will roll over for any subsequent Draw Dates.

  4. HOW TO WIN

For the purpose of these Rules, the “Draw Dates” (individually, a “Draw Date”) will be defined as follows:

    Draw Dates

On each of the Draw Dates set out above, at 12:00 pm ET, a random draw will be conducted to select eligible winners from among all eligible Entries received for the applicable Draw Date. The applicable Draw Date depends on the date you submitted your Entry into the Contest. Chances of being selected as eligible to win a Prize depend on the number of eligible Entries received for the applicable Draw Date.

  5. PRIZE

There are a total of one hundred (100) prizes (each a “Prize”) available to be won during the Contest Period, as follows:

    • Eight (8) Hotel Vouchers, each in the amount of $2,000 CAD. The hotel vouchers will be redeemable at a hotel in Toronto, Ontario as determined by the Organizer and named at the time of prize fulfillment. Terms and conditions set by the hotel may apply.
    • Ninety-two (92) Vuse Promo Codes, each in the amount of $100 CAD redeemable on either vuse.com or in Vuse stores in Canada. The Promo Codes cannot be combined with other offers or promotions and can only be used for one transaction. Promo codes will expire on December 31st, 2021.

The Prizes available to be won vary depending on the Draw Date (as set out above). All Prizes must be redeemed by November 1st, 2021.
